There is no question that 2020 has been a year of the “big pivot.” Businesses large and small are having to change focus, revise marketing strategies and look for new and innovative ways to connect with customers.

We are all learning new platforms and becoming acquainted with technology that includes video. Business meetings, workshops, seminars and special events are all going on-line.

There are benefits to the change…it is both time and cost effective to meet virtual. Working from the comfort of our homes has given us the opportunity to spend more time with friends and families.  I’ve heard many people debate the benefits of healthier lifestyle choices based on the changes to our daily routines. More time = more options.

Part of the learning curve is navigating on-line platforms that allow us to connect with a global audience. Many companies have increased services through their websites with revenue streams supported by social media.

This year, more than ever, our brand message includes a strong visual connection with both business owners and team members having to increase their personal profile. Video interviews and podcast shows are now part of our marketing strategy, creating opportunities to introduce the person behind the logo and expand our market reach.

As a marketing consultant, we recommend that each strategy include powerful visual messages that engage and encourage new conversations.

Our visual brand has never been more important as we create new and innovative ways to introduce our products and services.

As consumers, we buy from the people we know and now more than ever it has become important to introduce the person behind the logo. Visual content will enhance our marketing strategies, create content to share and encourage engagement with our target audience.
